Migratory Birds Project
On Childhood and Practice
My work harbours a touch of childlike innocence; it is a look back at childhood, a time free from constraints, filled only with freedom and boundless imagination. The adult world is full of pressures, and I hope my art will always retain that sense of joy, spontaneity, and the courage to dream and act boldly.

In the final month of my residency, I had the opportunity to take part in a video interview as part of the Migratory Birds Project documentation. This interview reflects on my experience of working in Jingdezhen, sharing insights into my creative process and the ideas that continue to shape my practice.
Migratory Birds Project
Being part of the Migratory Birds Project was a meaningful experience, offering time, space, and context to reflect, create, and connect within a global artistic community grounded in the unique cultural landscape of Jingdezhen.
The project brings together artists from diverse backgrounds, creating a shared environment for exchange and dialogue. Within this context, the residency at Taoxichuan Art Center supports both individual exploration and collective learning, allowing artists to develop their work while engaging with the rich ceramic heritage of the city.
