My work has appeared in ELLE Indonesia magazine ed.April'12 : Anniversary Issue. Also, Thank You All For the Wonderful Birthday Wishes!!!
I was interviewed by Nylon Indonesia Magazine ed.December 2011. Alexander wrote very nicely article about my works.
I've admired Megan Morton's work for a long time. She is one of prolific Australian stylist, works with atmospheres and interior. She been featured in the pages of Vogue Living, Inside Out and In Style and on the covers of international publications; Elle Decoration UK and Vanity Fair. I was very excited that I had the chance to attend one of her Melbourne Roadshow program: Science of Styling Masterclass yesterday at Small Giant.
Here a few quotes from her presentation that I like and would like to share:
• "I am going to make everything around me beautiful - that will be my life." Elsie de Wolfe
• "No amount of money can buy you style. It's just instinctive. You can't try to be somebody you're not; that's not style." Iris Aprel
• "The best stylist don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything."
Fun courses being run each day this week by a host of Australian talents. Visit The School website for the program, be quick because all are booking out fast. Photographed by Nani P for @melbartdiary.

I don't often go to Fitzroy side, but I am thrilled I went this morning and attended the artist talk: Beci Orpin about her happiness via Melbourne Creative Morning. Inspiring and talented illustrator! After the conversation, my friend and I went for brunch at one of the favourite locals, Slowpoke. Melbourne-based French designer Anne-Sophie Poirier aka Sasufi has designed the interior of this cafe with a minimal budget and shortlisted for the Australian Interior Design Awards 2012. Poirier made use of offcuts from local furniture makers who use recycled timbers to decorate a 12-meter long wall in the cafe. Read the full review via Broadsheet.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all your kind support this year! Your likes, tweets, reblog, blog posts, emails and any kind words have made my art feel more loved. 2012 was indeed another good year for me; I had the opportunity to do crazy shit that I want to do before I die, I also got involved in lots of inspiring projects and travel abroad to few countries. I'm looking forward to achieving more good things in 2013. My new years' resolution is to stay longer in this country, get a full-time job, involved in more crazy art projects and chase more dreams. I hope everyone has a beautiful New Years Eve and safe holiday season!!! AYEE!!
June 2012. I got my hair cut quite short for the first time in nearly one decade in Tokyo and bought a domain www.melbartdiary.com - my photography project.

Both of them filled with bizarre bits and bobs from years past, a crazy selection of vintage goodness from floral dresses, retro furniture until cute game boy. Worth a visit.
